Donald Trump has accused North Korea of killing Otto Warmbier, a US student detained for over a year. Trump said Warmbier who died on Monday will still be alive if he has been released much sooner by the 'brutal regime' of North korea.
The Trump administration was able to ecure Otto Warmbier's release from North Korea last week on humanitarian grounds after nearly 18 months in detention but as at the time of his release, he was said to be in coma and he never recovered till he passed away on Monday.
How US will respond to this is yet to be seen but it will more likely be additional economic sanctions on the nuclear armed state.
