North Korea launched yet another ballistic missile, the third in three weeks.
The short range missile which was reported to have been fired at 5:39am from an area near Wonsan, Kanywon province traveled an estimated 248miles before coming down within Japan's exclusive zone, a region where commercial ships operate.
Immediately after this test, Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe protested strongly and promised a concrete action in response to the test.
South Korean Military chiefs are also planning an ''Appropriate response'' to the North Korean launch.
12 missiles has been tested so far by North Korea in 2017.
