Last week, US and South Korea confirmed that North Korea fired three new short range missile despite US and UN sanctions. The news of the test was still hot and the international community were still contemplating how to respond to the latest test when Pyongyang fired yet another missile towards North Japan on Monday which prompted the Japanese government to order its citizen (via a radio and TV warning) to take cover in strong structure or in bunkers.
The missile was reported by NBC to have flew over Japanese Hokkaido island, the Island where U.S and Japan a day before the missile test conducted a joint military exercise. The Associated Press provided more information via South Korea news agency which reported an unidentified object of North Korean origin flying over Japan.
The ballistic missile travelled over 1,100Km (750 before landing in the sea of Japan after exploding into three parts.
The report of the missile flying over Japan sent the japanese citizen into so much panick and affected economical and social activity all over the country on Monday.
North Korea missile development have matured over the years, far more than public expectation and since March this year, North Korea has been firing missile sporadically in the direction of Japan. This has also led to the exchange of threats between U.S and North Korea, as Kim-Jong threatened to attack mainland U.S with nuclear armed missile and Donald Trump aggressively replied him via his twitter handle to respond with "Fire and Fury" if Pyongyang ever attempt such.
All eyes are firmly fixed on his Twitter handle to see how he will react to this new development.
