Shut down Al Jazeera: Saudi, others, orders Qatar.

Four of the Arab States boycotting Qatar over alleged support for terrorism have made public a list of 13 demands for Doha which include closing down Al Jazeera and reducing its relationship with Iran.

      Saudi Arabia, Egypt, United Arab Emirates and Bahrain gave Qatar 10 days on Friday to comply with the demands.

Some of the demands include;

(1) Shutdown the Al Jazeera media network and its affiliates.
(2) Reduce diplomatic ties with Iran.
(3) Halt the development of a Turkish military base in the country.
(4) Stop the practice of giving Qatari nationality to citizen of the four countries.
(5) Cut ties to terrorist organisation.

      Ties were severed with Qatar on the 5th of June for her alleged support of terrorism and destabilising the region but Qatar rejected the accusation calling them "unjustified" and "baseless".

    Kuwait which is acting as a mediator in the crisis presented the list but Qatar is yet to officially respond to the demand which will become void after 10 days if Qatar refuse to act on it.
        According to report, the demand will be monitored and involves monthly reports in the first year, quarterly report the second year then annually for 10 years and also Qatar is expected to pay reparations to Saudi, the UAE, Bahrain and Egypt for damages and policy charges.
