The Operatives of the intelligence Response Team, IRT, deployed in Lagos by IGP Ibrahim K Idris averted what could have been a blood bath when they foiled multiple bank robberies in the state by a notorious militant group led by wanted criminal 'America'.
The IRT leader, ACP Abba Kyari reported that the notorious militant group led by America have perfected plans for massive attack on five banks in Lagos before they were caught.
He gave the names of the suspects as Abiodun Olaroye 38 yrs, otherwise known as gbeleju, Ebi Patgh Tuwei 47 yrs, also known as Segun, and Benjamin Powei all from Ondo State. Others include Samuel Chinedu, 30 yrs,also known as Hitman from Delta State, Samuel Innocent from Abia State who is a security man in one of the targetted banks.
The banks targetted are FCMB in Lekki, GTB, Keystone and other top commercial bank in Ajah area of Lagos.
ACP kyari further reiterate that effort are being made to bring their leader ' America' to his knees.
