European aerospace giant Airbus last week unveiled their ambitious silicon valley project called Vahana. it is a pilotless passenger aircraft that may one day be an option to the to the Uber driverless Car.
The Drawing released by Airbus depict an Aircraft that can take off and land vertically. it has Helicopter-like struts, and two sets of tilting wings each with four electric motors. There is room for a passenger under a Canopy that retracts like a motorcycle helmet visors.
An initial $150 million funding commitment has been budgeted by Airbus to kickstart the development of this project and the product of this project is planned to hit the market by 2020.
